COMPUTEX 2026 and Jensanity by trc

I have not been to COMPUTEX for years. A young friend suggests we going there, so we check it out this week. I can at least take some photos, I think, as I am way out-of-sync with the Taiwan computer industries.

I didn't realize we would witness some moments of Jensanity. The day before the opening of COMPUTEX, Jensen Huang gave a two-hour NVIDIA GTC pitch at the fully packed Taipei Music Center. I knew because I happened to capture part of it when it was broadcast live on Taiwan Plus, an English TV channel subsidized by the Taiwanese government. That is insane!

COMPUTEX this year is much bigger than I thought. We get to explore about ⅓ of the exhibition floor in one afternoon. It has almost everything for everyone, I feel. The big players are all into AI compute racks. Business must be good, as there are many smiling faces from the vendors. I am surprised, but I should not, to see many (young) female engineers and sales. They constitute a good portion of the workforce on the floor. They are all very knowledgeable.
