Dulan, Taitung
2024-10-03
So we stayed in Dulan (都蘭), a coastal village in Taitung of southeastern Taiwan, for a few days:

Dulan is an Amis village, ethnically diverse, and with a sizable foreigner community as reported by Teddy Lai (I am a fan of him!) and by Kate Alvarez (very well done!):

We re-visited some of our favorite places. We were happy to catch an out-door night concert at Highway11:

which is a craft beer and cocktails place in the defunct Dulan Sugar Factory (新東糖廠):

We ventured north to Chenggong for lunch and visited the attraction Nuwalian (very windy!):

I also added Naboonong Coffee (納布濃咖啡) to OpenStreetMap while we had lemon tea there:

Note: The first four photos are from a Sony Xperia 1 IV phone which I am quite happy with. The next four were taken by a Sony ZV-E10 with a versatile 18-105 mm F4 lens (the combo is light in weight and affordable in price). The last two are edits from a panoramic image taken by a Ricoh Theta Z.
More Note: By way of Highway11's Facebook page:

I found this surf film PLASTIC TABLE by Maxime Badets and Paul Laforge at YouTube:
