(Less than) 72 Hours in Dongdaemun

I was in Seoul at the end of the August. I don't know Korean culture and society well (the film plots in "Parasite" and "Hopeless" seem too cruel to be true), so I made plans to take long evening/morning walks nearby my hotel which was in the Dongdaemun vicinity. My feeling about Seoul is complicated (South Korea and Taiwan both being post-colonial societies and geopolitical junctures) but I recognize the hardworking people. The minimum hourly wage in South Korea is higher than that of Taiwan (7.2 USD vs 5.7 USD) but so is the the food price (the hourly wage buys you 1.75 and 2.45 Big Macs respectively).
I am getting fond of using the Organic Map app to bookmark places, and in real time adding new data to OpenStreetMap, e.g. these two coffee shops:
